The neighborhood

Three phases over 15 years

Parkside Village is a 50-home Holly Springs neighborhood built in three phases from 1999 to 2014 inside town limits. Lots are small, near 0.12 acres, homes have a median of 1,596 square feet, and the association owns about 3.4 acres of open space.1, 2, 10

Parkside Village grew in spurts. Phase 1 homes on Waterpoint Rd and Occidental Dr went up from 1999 to 2006; Phase 2 added Ogletown Ct and more of Occidental from 2006 to 2008; and Phase 3 filled the last 11 Occidental lots from 2011 to 2014.1, 10

That timeline shows in the houses. Waterpoint Rd’s 1999–2002 homes have a median near 1,370 square feet; Ogletown Ct’s 2006–2008 homes are near 1,890. Lots stay small throughout, 0.09 to 0.24 acres, so yard work stays light.1, 10

The association owns two parcels, about 3.4 acres, mostly a 3.36-acre open-space tract off Waterpoint Rd, plus a 0.09-acre common lot at 104 Occidental Dr. The Town maps Parkside at about 13 acres, about 0.3 miles from Womble Park, straight-line.2, 8, 5
